In light of recent events impacting flight safety and passengers’ comfort on the Yerevan – Chisinau route, FLYONE introduces new travel rules applicable to all flights to Chisinau via Yerevan. These measures support state institutions' efforts in combating illegal migration, terrorism, and other illicit activities threatening constitutional order.

Key Changes:

  1. Passenger Verification
  • Passenger List Transmission: The passenger list for Yerevan – Chisinau flights will be transmitted to Moldovan authorities prior to departure.
  • Additional Checks: Authorities will conduct supplementary checks before departure and upon arrival to identify and prevent any potential security risks.
  • Boarding Approval: Only passengers confirmed as being admitted to the flight will be allowed to continue their journey. Passengers refused or deemed "persona non grata" will not be permitted to travel, in this case the ticket costs will not be reimbursed.
  1. Additional Security Control
  • Border and Boarding Control: In Yerevan, all passengers will undergo additional security checks at the state border crossing and/or during boarding.
  • Cash Limit: A cash transportation limit of 3000 USD or equivalent in any currency is imposed on FLYONE flights on the Yerevan – Chisinau route.
  • Source Verification: Competent authorities will verify the origin of available funds. Passengers carrying more than 3000 USD in cash without proper justification of its source will be denied boarding. Documentation confirming the source of funds may include official documents issued by state authorities, employer, sales contracts, etc. For details on accepted confirmatory documents, please refer to official state institution pages.
  • Cash Declaration: All passengers must complete a form declaring the amount of money they possess when crossing the border.
  1. Airport Check-in
  • Arrival Time: Passengers are advised to arrive at the airport at least 4 hours before departure to complete all security formalities.

Importance of Security Measures

These measures are crucial to prevent the use of national territory for extremist, terrorist, or subversive activities that could destabilize constitutional order and national security. They also ensure compliance with legal norms and prevent illegal activities.

FLYONE's Commitment

FLYONE is committed to respecting the rights of all individuals and ensuring flight safety. We kindly request passengers to comply with the new regulations and cooperate with authorities to facilitate necessary checks. By implementing these measures, we aim to provide a pleasant and safe flight experience.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
